Thankful for my Mama - for her love and guidance, her never-ending faith in each of us, her smile and laughter, her comfort and support on dark days, her Disney outlook on life, for grounding me in my faith, her love of g-rated movie nights, her talent for cooking and homemaking, for the sacrifices she made to be home with us while we were small, her homemade sourdough bread, her slow-to-anger patience but fierce reckoning once she's mad, for teaching me and reminding me to focus on what matters in the long run not the short, and mostly for her friendship. If I end up being half of the Mom that she was to us - Maddie will be lucky and I'll be fortunate. Blessed.
