Monday night Maddie woke-up in the middle of the night and I realized that she needed a diaper change. So I changed her diaper and as I was putting her pajama pants back on - she said "thank you"! I thought it was beyond cute. I couldn't help myself I picked her up and hugged her tight.
This morning I held on tight to that sweet little moment while she was throwing temper tantrum #21 of the day. Life with a toddler is definitely a give and take relationship. You take and bank the sweet moments when you can!
